Women Only EmPower Hour at Fitness Battalion CrossFit
Offered 3x/week (MWF) 0900-1000
A unique fitness experience for women only.
Prenatal and Postpartum Athletes welcome.
A new class offering at FBCF led by female coaches for the female athlete.
Zero intimidation, Pure Empowerment.
Focus will be on building a strong foundation and stable core through each movement. Structured like a CrossFit Class and rooted in the fundamental movements.
EmPower Hour Programming focuses on:
• Functional Movements- rooted in CrossFit but adapted and tailored for a unique fitness experience.
• Core Strengthening Flow- Building a strong core based on the principles of Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), to identify and address any instability, weakness or dysfunction.
• Breath and Posture- Training and Retraining the skill of Belly Breathing
• Integrity and Intention of Movement- Priority will always be form and foundation over speed and weight. (But don’t worry, this doesn’t mean you won’t be challenged)
• Building relationships and confidence- Regularly occurring Partner Workouts and opportunities to push each other
Whether you are new to CrossFit, hesitant to try it, or are a veteran athlete, you will learn how to move safely and effectively with focus on form and stability over speed and weight. You will be able to complete each workout with minimal modifications but challenged all the same regardless of your fitness background.
